Campbell MarkhamName: Campbell MarkhamOther Name(s): Cam
 Occupation: Pastor
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: As the founder of the mission trip and the team leader, Campbell has had a wealth of experience in the Aboriginal people up in Roebourne and is a well recognised person in and around the town after his stint at teaching at the local Primary School.
This has lead to his invaluable leadership on the trip and ultimately the success of the mission in 2002.
Personal Comment: I was especially touched by the response of David Stevens and the Pilbara Aboriginal Church this year. The leaders work extremely hard in fierce conditions day in and day out: but they really seemed to appreciate the fact that we would come up and support them, even if only for a week. We appreciate them! And I hope one day to be able to emulate their hard work and their dedication to the people that God has given to them to serve.

Chuck LinkstonName: Chuck LinkstonOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Youth Pastor
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: Immigrating to Australia in late 2001 from Black Mountain, North Carolina, USA, Chuck has participated in many other mission trips in and around the U.S. region. This, being his first mission trip in his home away from home will allow him to once again contribute to the Lord's work in the way of youth leadership.

Brad MarkhamName: Brad MarkhamOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Policeman
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: Brother of Campbell and Ali and father of Calvin, Brad has been on other Roebourne Mission trips in the past, therefore gaining an understanding about the people and the area in which they live. Carrying the challenging and difficult task of bus-driving, Brad has been a valuable member of the team in 2002.

Alicia BromfieldName: Alicia BroomfieldOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Social Trainer
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: With a ever friendly personality, Alicia has been one of the most pleasant members on the trip. With the skills of a professional chef, assisting in cooking up a storm for a hungry team each night, she also has a great way with the kid's. She has been a great asset to the team in 2002 and hopefully will be as well in 2003.

Kelly BuistName: Kelly BuistOther Name(s): Kel
 Occupation: Medical Receptionist
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: The ever smiling Kelly has once again braved the heat and humidity to come on another Roebourne Mission Trip. With the great ability to strike out the best in kid's and a master hand in the kitchen, Kelly's presence on the trip in 2002 has had yet another positive effect on the effect of it.

Myrna OutName: Myrna OutOther Name(s): Myrn
 Occupation: Studying Nursing
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: With a broad smile, Myrna is one that strives to always get the job done. (Apart from when she's on the phone to Graham!) Without her, alot of things on the trip would not have been possible and her skills are those that are vital to the outcome of the mission.

MarijaName: MarijaOther Name(s): None
Occupation: Unknown (My apologies Marija, I'd love to know!)
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: Marija is probably the team member I know the least about, even her surname baffles me! The reason for this however is not related to the trip at all with her amazing testimonty, determined attitude and friendly personality all playing a part in her great contribution to the trip in 2002.

Matt VealeName: Matt VealeOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: As the only youth Roebourne Mission Trip Member from Kingsley WPC to attent the trip in 2001, Matt has given some valuable advice to the 2002 team members in a Kingsley dominated trip. As well as this, he has put in a mighty effort to the trip in 2002 and has passed in all areas with flying colours, a revelation to his comittment to the team.

Michelle NautaName: Michelle NautaOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: Michelle is an eager and confident newcomer to the Roebourne Mission Trip and has made a strong and solid contribution to the trip this year. Her patience and kindness to the children at Kid's Club have been second to none and she has been an major encouragement to all her fellow team members.

Jason McNamaraName: Jason McNamaraOther Name(s): Jazz
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: As a relatively new person not only to the mission but also to the denomination, Jason has been a consistant member of the trip. His skills in the drama field has been reflected in his sometimes hilarious devotional skits at kid's club and his sense of humour on the trip was a great motivational tool for all involved.

 | |
John RowlandsName: John RowlandsOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Studying Medicine
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: As probably the most intellectually intelligent member of the mission trip in 2002, John's skills in medicine were proven when he was given the chance to dissect the inside of a Kangaroo. Whilst many would believe gruesome, the knwowledge of the internal organs was quite astounding and baffled many team members. Detracting from the point, John was a great member of the team and his presence well worth having on the trip.

Stephen McDonaldName: Stephen McDonaldOther Name(s): Steve, Stevo
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: Great athletic ability and unbelievable endurance are two understated phrases to describe this one of a kind basketball fanatic. His skills in and around the court are nothing short of amazing and his speed and mobility are ones that were no match for the clumsy defence (that's me!). Besides this, Steve has a hard working attitude and his athleticism helped achieve some of the more streneous tasks in very hot conditions.

Adam HetebryName: Adam HetebryOther Name(s): Bullet, Wandala Fruitman
 Occupation: Panelbeater
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: Adam has had many positive, yet somewhat strange influences on the trip. His fanatical automobile mind and his strange obsacession with Paddelpops lead him to be the designer of the "first ever (?!)" V8 Ice-Cream Truck. As well as this, this new believer in Christ has comitted himself to the cause of the trip displaying amazing dexterity and comittment, contributing to the outcome of it in a major way.

Paul HetebryName: Paul HetebryOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Comments: As a late entrant to the trip, only enrolling 2 weeks before the date of departure, Paul has had an amazing impact in a very short amount of time. Assisting in a major way to the music and the running of Kid's Club are only two on his extensive list of fortes. In 2002, this brother of Adam has had a great trip and earned the respect of many team members.

Jenni BierbaumName: Jenni BierbaumOther Name(s): Jen Jen
 Occupation: Teacher
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: Jenni has managed once again to astound many with her extensive range of art and craft activities organised for the Roebourne Mission Trip in 2002, which the kid's absolutely adored during Kid's Club. As well as this, her sense of humour and determined attitude have helped the team tremendously during the trip in 2002. Her recent application for a position as a teacher at Roebourne Primary has only recently been accepted and she will be moving up to the town in late January 2003.
Personal Comment: I have been on the Roebourne Trip all three times and each time, I am amazed at the enthusiasm of the kids towards us and how much they love us. I was not prepared for the reception we got when we went back the second time (Sept 2001). We went for a walk around the town and we had about 50 or more kids following us! I had about 10 of them hanging off of me. We were true celebrities!!! For me, Roebourne is all about the kids and showing them the love of Jesus by the way we treat them. So many of the children respond positively to our message about Jesus. It is just overwhelming. I love it so much I want to go and teach there in 2003!

Siobhan NautaName: Siobhan NautaOther Name(s): Sio-ban
 Occupation: Checkout/Cashier
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: The wrath of Sio-ban was released in an enormous way on the Roebourne Mission Trip in 2002, though in a rather unorthodox way, in the way of love and friendship to the young kids. With a gifted ability with especially the little, Siobhan has put in a huge effort to the trip in 2002 and has been one of the stand-out performers, without her no one knows where some things would have ended up!

Amanda-Sue MarkhamName: Amanda-Sue MarkhamOther Name(s): None
 Occupation: Housewife
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: No
Comments: Wife of Campbell and mother of four children, the task of coming on the trip in 2002 has been challenging for Amanda-Sue to say the least. From breaking down in the middle of nothing with four young children to sleeping in mosquito infected accomodation, she has put in an amazing effort in the trip in 2002. Her prior knowledge of the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort helped many have a great time there without trying to find their way around and her efforts in Roebourne were nothing short of outstanding. She has been fantastic member of the 2002 mission and a great asset to have on the trip.

Tim RobertsonName: Tim RobertsonOther Name(s): Timmeh, Wandala Fruitman
 Occupation: Student
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Yes
Personal Comment: As the youngest member of the team in 2002, I felt rather uneasy about going with a group of people, most nearly twice my age to go and participate in a mission trip in a place I'd barely heard of. However I soon discovered out that when you're in the Lord's work, age dosen't matter and most of the activities and tasks on the trip were well in the boundaries of my age limit. On return from the trip, I felt like I had really put in my all and although many would agree I wasn't the most influencial figure on the mission, I felt that my time up there had not been fruitless and that I had contributed, even though in a small way to the spreading of the gospel. This to me was a very satisfying thought.

Alison MarkhamName: Alison MarkhamOther Name(s): Ali
 Occupation: Nurse
 First Roebourne Mission Trip?: Unknown
Comments: As a Nurse in Derby, Ali was one of only two team members not to come on the bus up to Roebourne, rather taking one down from the far north town to join the mission a few days after the rest had arrived in Roebourne. Her efforts in seeing to the kid's wounds during Kid's Club were a reflection of her proffessional way of doing things and her efforts in all other deparments contributed greatly to the success of the mission. At our stop-over in Monkey Mia, she celebrated her 21st Birthday which was a celebration greatly enjoyed by all involved.
